Counselling and Psychotherapy

Often people can be held back in life by the experiences they have had and counselling and psychotherapy helps you to look at possible blocks you may have or difficult situations that you are dealing with and as you move through different areas of your life and rework them, this gives you a chance to cope better, to see things in a different way and to see what choices you have in life.

The hope and aim is that at the end of our  journey together you are able to be your own counsellor, that you will notice when things are getting too much and be able to pull back, that you will know yourself better and have more understanding of why you do the things you do, why you are drawn to the same type of situations or the same type of people in your life.

This process is by no means an easy journey but staying stuck is a choice and counselling helps you realise that there are other choices and helps you realise your true potential as long as you are willing to put in some effort.

I will not give you advice but I can help you gain a greater understanding of some of the more unconscious hidden feelings that you might have which can prevent you from moving on in your life. The duration of the work depends on each client, but rest assured you will be met with unconditional postive regard and respected at all times.
